In Japan I’ve definitely had worse luck with American chicken but it’s been happening with 国産 domestic brands too. Never had it happen at all before the pandemic though 😩
For those of you that cook, have you noticed an increase of “wooden” chicken breasts these past few years? I never had them before Covid, but now it feels like we accidentally buy tough chewy chicken every few months. Our Uber Eats order this week had one too. Wtf.
@CurrentlyHannah@jessethanleyThe place another user mentioned is Kusasenri, a nice service area/parking spot right near the crater. While last time we were there, there were no services running to the crater, you could definitely walk from there if you wanted to. Cool cafe there too!
@jessethanley@CurrentlyHannahI think she means up to the volcano. I think you can hike up but there are no official/public means of getting up there since the last eruption. In the general national park region (which is huge) there are many places you can visit and hike!
