Fun fact. Japan had it's own brand of PCs and NEC's PC-8000 & 9800 series was extremely popular. The PC98 was a local clone of the IBM PC, but had proprietary chips and buses. @dankanemitsu貴重な写真をシェアいただきありがとうございます。お父様のご記憶がDC-7とのことで大変恐縮ですが、プロペラの羽根の角度が3枚羽根であること（DC-7は4枚）、上部にインテークだけが付いた細いエンジンナセル（JALのDC-7Cは増設燃料タンクで上部が大きく膨らみます）から、写真はDC-6と思われます。

それにしても戦後直後の飛行場にはジープが溢れてる模様

死んだ父にないものねだりするのはアホだが、垂直尾翼が見えたらおそらく機体が特定できるだけちょっと残念
